Ms Clemmie Stewart

I studied English and Education Studies at the University of Winchester, which enabled me to continue competing in the world of show jumping during my studies. From there, I went on to complete my PGCE in Primary Education and have recently undertaken a master’s in Educational Leadership. I’ve taught across all sectors – boarding schools, state schools and now in the independent day sector, where I have been Head of the Girls’ Preparatory School for over six years. I am also a school governor.

Outside of Surbiton High School, I am an avid dog walker, improving runner and highly enthusiastic equestrian! I love the countryside and make the most of having family in Hampshire, where I spend many a happy weekend riding, running and eating home-cooked food! I also host an educational podcast and have braved a TEDx talk with Rebecca Glover.
