Having read Biology at Leeds University, Hannah went on to study her PGCE at King’s College, London. Teaching at Tiffin School for six years, Hannah brought her love of the great outdoors to the role by leading the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme before taking on the Head of Year 10 role. Moving closer to the river at Surbiton High School, Hannah joined 12 years ago as a Head of Biology, then an Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning. She now oversees the curriculum and academics of the School.
Her love of the outdoors will see her paddle boarding to School in the summer months and escaping to the Brecon Beacon hills at every opportunity. When she’s not hiking a mountain, she enjoys combing beaches looking for bird skulls, reading novels set around the wars, tending her allotment or picking up her brush and easel. Forever inquisitive, she is keen to uncover the techniques used by artists to create their masterpieces.
